All of this incredible work we have done just in the last few months that we shared in the email below — from electing new Real Justice champions, to watching current DAs protect their communities — has been incredible to see.

But I have to be real with you. Focusing on that work took time away from our fundraising, and right now we are running behind on our End of Quarter goal.

What we raise between now and Friday at MIDNIGHT, will tell us just how much we have to work with moving forward. So, PLEASE, can I count on you to help us close the gap with a donation today?

John, we wanted to show you a few accomplishments you helped make a reality just in the past couple months:

• Helped defeat one of the worst DAs in America in Shelby County, TN and elect Steve Mulroy — a civil rights champion who will fight tooth and nail to free innocent people and end the criminalization of poverty, mental health and substance use.   

• Worked to re-elect Satana Deberry in Durham and Diana Becton in Contra Costa, CA — DAs who are going to build on their incredible work to end mass incarceration, hold police accountable, protect women from abortion-related charges, and more.

• Real Justice Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner just got the FIRST COP EVER convicted for a murder in the entire history of the city. ⁠

• Real Justice Dallas County DA John Creuzot and Bexar County DA Joe Gonzales immediately took a bold stance opposing Gov. Abbott's horrific, discriminatory, anti-trans policies.⁠

• Real Justice Cook County DA Kim Foxx vacated 7 wrongful convictions tied to corrupt detective Guevara. She has given people their lives back by vacating 229 of these wrongful convictions since 2017. 

• Real Justice DA George Gascon helped prevent an unfair, unjust recall campaign in Los Angeles from making the ballot, so that he could continue serving the people of his city.

We could go on for pages because there’s so much more! This is the real work that our DAs are doing on the ground, to directly invest in the people in their communities instead of criminalizing them. 

We are coming up on our End of Quarter deadline. It’s only because we hit our goals for the last deadline that we were able to carry out all of these amazing  electoral efforts — and now we need to hit our goal again to make sure we have all the resources we need in the FINAL month before Election Day.

We still have a gap to close and have 9 elections coming up quickly, but we crunched the numbers. If just 3 people from xxxxxx make a donation right now of $5 or more, we’d hit this goal INSTANTLY. Please, can we count on you to be one of the people we need from xxxxxx to give right now?
