Team, we are coming up on the single most important fundraising deadline of the entire midterm election.

I have seen this deadline make or break campaigns. If a candidate can wow everyone with this report and show they have the grassroots support to win, then a huge influx of support will be rushed in to help them get across the finish line.

But if a candidate has a disappointing End-of-Quarter number…or is significantly outraised by their opponent…then important coalitions may withdraw resources during the final full month of the campaign.

It comes down to the basic fact that there’s only so many resources available, and the Democratic Party and others need to think strategically about where to put their dollars and volunteers.

If Dr. Kermit doesn’t meet his End-of-Quarter goal and produce impressive fundraising results, groups may withdraw the critical resources we need to flip this seat.
