Patriot, As we warned you on Monday, the U.S. Senate is taking up radical legislation to federalize elections, to guarantee future wins for their hand-picked establishment candidates. The Presidential Election Reform Act (H.R. 8873), which has already passed the House, would allow for extended voting of up to FIVE DAYS AFTER ELECTION DAY in specific districts or states under certain circumstances on the request of a candidate for president. And the request doesn’t even have to be made until 24 hours AFTER the polls have closed, when the preliminary vote counting is already done and made public! Now, a similar bill, S. 4573, is advancing in the Senate. A Senate committee just voted to advance S. 4573, with all Republicans supporting it except for Sen. Ted Cruz (TX). Republicans supporting it were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY), Roy Blunt (MO), Shelley Moore Capito (WV), Deb Fischer (NE), Bill Hagerty (TN), Cindy Hyde-Smith (MS), Richard Shelby (AL), and Roger Wicker (MS). There is a very real chance the Senate could move to incorporate the worst parts of H.R. 8873 into the Senate bill on the floor, or they could even change course entirely and move the House bill instead. While the Senate bill has some issues, the House bill is much worse, and with Senate Republicans proving time and again they can’t be trusted to stand firmly on the side of liberty, we need every patriot to demand all Senate Republicans keep their hands OFF our most vital national election! With your help, Campaign for Liberty has thwarted
every single one of their attempts to usurp state sovereignty on this issue. TELL SENATE
REPUBLICANS: DEFEND OUR STATE ELECTION LAWS. VOTE NO ON H.R. 8873! Patriot, in tight elections, allowing one or more states to keep the polls open for 5 days could entirely flip the outcome of the election! It would allow the federal government (i.e. the corrupt Department of Justice) to sue states and state officials for alleged violations of their own state laws the feds don’t like. It could even allow the feds to target local officials. The bill says no "person acting under color of law shall willfully fail or refuse to tabulate, count, or report any vote that is timely cast and is otherwise valid under applicable State and Federal law.” So if a local clerk refuses to count an absentee ballot with a mismatched signature, with a misspelled voter’s name, is that a valid ballot? Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has demonstrated time and time again he is not impartial, could take the clerk to court to find out! This awful bill is now in the Senate, and you and I need to ensure Senate Republicans will stop it. It’s critical you and I ensure the Senate does not take up H.R. 8873 or incorporate it into the Senate version. Patriot, we’re watching the Biden Department of Justice waging legal warfare – “lawfare” – on Americans who publicly questioned the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. This is unprecedented in American history. Most notably, prominent Democrats openly disputed the legitimacy of the 2016 election with impunity throughout Donald Trump’s term of office. This is, plain and simple, an effort to silence your voice. And that’s why we must speak out against this dangerous legislation. In just seconds, you can send a message to ALL Senate Republicans demanding they OPPOSE this unprecedented assault on free and fair elections in America. It will only take ten Republicans to send this dangerous bill to Joe Biden’s desk and further the statist’s goal of interfering in the 2024 election. And with senators like Mitt Romney (UT), Rob Portman (OH), Lisa Murkowski (AK), Susan Collins (ME), Joni Ernst (IA), Marco Rubio (FL), Mitch McConnell (KY), and others willing to sell out for the benefit of “bipartisanship” . . . we can’t take any chances. Take a moment to send a directive to Senate Republicans demanding they vote NO on this attempt to usurp the right of the states to administer elections. And after you’ve sent your directive, please chip in with a contribution of $20, $50, $100, $250, or whatever amount you can so Campaign for Liberty can hold lawmakers accountable for their acts. This is a battle we can win, but we’re still fighting on many fronts: >>> to prevent a Central Bank Digital Currency that the Deep State and their bankster backers are clamoring
for; >>> to demand accountability for those who unleashed Covid on the world; >>> to stop the “Great Reset” and “Green New Deal” globalist schemes; >>> to prevent any more anti-Second Amendment bills from passing the Senate. And all of this is happening while the midterm political season is in full swing. Please help us keep up the fight, which is only going to get hotter for the rest of the year. Tell U.S. Senate Republicans to reject H.R. 8873 and then make a gift to Campaign for Liberty as we gear up for a busy fall. Thanks for all you do, John McCardell Executive Director Campaign for Liberty P.S. The Washington establishment is bent on stripping away the right of states from lawfully administering an election. Tell the Senate Republicans right now to vote NO on H.R. 8873, a dangerous attack on our presidential elections that would allow Congress to usurp state authority over elections. And if you can, please make a generous contribution today so that we can do more to hold our elected officials accountable in the election season. The more you support our fight, the more we can take on. If you can give $10, $25, or $100 today, we can push back hard. And a generous donation of $500, $250, or $100 will let us do so much more as we head into the closing weeks of Congress and then face a Lame Duck session after the dust from the election has settled.
