[1]Charles Booker
Rand cannot
be trusted.
Rand Paul has been colluding with Rick Scott to take a chainsaw to Social
Security – a lifeline for millions of seniors and folks with disabilities.
As usual, Rand is abusing his power and punching down.
If Rand Paul finds a way to undermine Social Security, he will use it
every time – at the expense of millions of us across Kentucky and the
country.
If you care about protecting Social Security and expanding Medicare for
All, understand it is imperative we defeat Rand Paul this November. Rand
is one of the single most outspoken critics of Social Security in the
Senate and seeks to slash it at every turn.
Rand proposed budget cuts that would hurt seniors and families, even
cutting Social Security and Medicare for *current retirees.* This is not
the American Dream. This is not the American Promise. This is not Freedom.
We must do better, for our communities.

For generations, Kentuckians have been waiting on change that doesn’t
come.
To this day, too many families can’t pay for groceries.
Too many of us can’t afford basic medication like insulin or inhalers.
Too many of us know what it means to go hungry and the fear of being one
emergency away from losing everything.
Social Security and Medicare are fundamental protections we rightfully
deserve. It is nothing but sheer cruelty to try to steal them from
millions of Americans.
Let’s be clear: Rand’s cruelty is a choice. This November, we can choose
something else. That’s why I’m running to replace Rand Paul – to be a
champion for working people across Kentucky and our nation.

campaign, and help me replace Rand Paul in the Senate so we can end
poverty and protect Social Security for good.
To a better future,
Charles
