FairVote (_Better Elections Are Possible.) logo outlines (1).png
Dear John,

We just launched the new FairVote.org website!

The American republic rests on “we the people” — and we are determined to improve it so our elections work for all of us.

It was time for a makeover. As we celebrate our 30th birthday, it is time to gift FairVote with an updated website to share the content we release.

This website is a one-stop shop for the
latest RCV news, research, and ways to get involved as we work to provide support for RCV organizations at the state and national level.

As a c3 organization, FairVote.org will still be a space for:
1. Our latest blog content about voting reforms;
4. How to get involved with the RCV movement, although more info will be available on the FairVote Action website.

FairVote.org provides visitors a comprehensive education on ranked choice votingproportional ranked choice voting, and the Fair Representation Act. It will continue to be a place to find research and data on how reforms like ranked choice voting are working in places that use them.

Our sister organization
FairVoteAction.org is treated under Section 501(c)(4) of the U.S. tax code. FairVote Action advocates for policies and candidates best positioned to advance RCV nationwide. It was historically a funding arm of FairVote, and moved into a full-fledged component of our overall operations in order to scale our ranked choice voting advocacy – and lift up the field of national and state reform allies and their RCV campaigns across the country.

If you would like to support this effort,
please consider a donation today. We look forward to you using FairVote.org as a resource.

With hope for a stronger future and appreciation for your continued support,

Ashley Houghton
Communications Director
