Did you know that each person running for mayor has to collect 12,500 signatures to qualify for the ballot? That’s three times more than Mayor candidates in big cities like New York.

That’s why, this past weekend, I joined Ward 43 Alderman Timmy Knudsen and dozens of Team Lightfoot volunteers in collecting hundreds of signatures to qualify for the ballot. Check it out!

We’re making significant progress, but collecting signatures is expensive.

While some can use their vast personal fortunes to gather the necessary signatures, I rely on you – a grassroots army of committed supporters who want us to continue fighting for a safe, just, and equitable Chicago.
