I’ll be blunt: I’ve been appalled watching Republicans in Congress and across the country undermine our voting rights.

That’s why I was proud to join my Democratic colleagues in fighting back by introducing legislation to protect the right to vote.

But Republicans have derailed our efforts at every step of the way.

When the stakes are this high, I refuse to give up on the fight to protect voting rights. Our democracy is just too important.

But I can’t win this fight alone. All of us -- each and every grassroots Democrat -- must get involved and help however we can.
