Two years ago today, Donald Trump and Republicans passed a tax scam that disproportionately benefited the wealthy few and corporations on the backs of working families.

It’s time to rework Trump's slogan: Promises made. Promises kept broken.

The GOP’s scam tax plan — which I opposed — unlocked a windfall for wealthy investors and CEOs, while leaving workers in the dust. The majority of savings went to the top 1%. And Fortune 500 companies made out like bandits at the expense of small businesses.

Republicans are planning a second round of tax cuts for the wealthy and big corporations, and to pay them off, they’re threatening to slash Social Security and Medicaid under the guise of lowering the deficit.

Not only that, but right-wing mega-donors are targeting Democrats in key Senate races across the country because they know we’ll undo their handout tax bill. So, they’re dumping the money they made off of this scam to prop up GOP candidates who will continue lining their pockets.

Enough is enough. It’s time to end this sort of corruption in our government by taking back the Senate — so chip in $10 or whatever you can afford today to support our work to protect our Democratic Senators and elect more of them.
