I'm reaching out for your help.
John,
We just announced something I'm really proud of: We're taking our fight for reproductive freedom on the road.
In the hours after Roe v. Wade was overturned, Missouri became the first state to ban abortion. So, we're joining with the Missouri Democratic Party, Pro-Choice Missouri, Advocates of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, Missouri State House Democratic Campaign Committee, Real Justice Network, Missouri KAN BIPOC Reproductive Justice Coalition, and more for a ten-stop statewide tour to rally and spread the message that our reproductive rights are not up for debate.
In order to make this tour possible, we need your support to fund travel, outreach, and logistics. Can you help power our Roe The Vote: Reproductive Freedom Tour with a $5 donation today?
This issue is not theoretical to me. At 17 years old I was raped and became pregnant, then I had an abortion at the very same St. Louis clinic where we came together in protest on the day Roe was overturned. And as a nurse, mother, pastor, and activist, I know this is not a fight Democrats can give up on.
It's why I became one of the first sitting members of Congress to tell my story publicly in a House Oversight Committee hearing. It's why I was arrested outside of the Supreme Court protesting for abortion rights. It's why I released a 20-point roadmap to protecting reproductive freedom and a support hub for those looking for assistance.
Now, we're taking this fight across the state — from St. Louis to Kansas City and communities in between. But a tour like this takes major resources including gas, lodging, and event spaces, so I'm reaching out because I need your help.
Will you chip in $5 or whatever you can afford to help us hit our $83,500 end-of-quarter fundraising goal before Friday's deadline? We're still running short of our projections, and every dollar will go toward ensuring we have the resources for our statewide tour.
Chip in $5
Your Congresswoman loves you,
Cori
