Team --
I got into politics to fight for the issues that matter to everyday families, like access to quality, affordable health care, raising the minimum wage, and leveling the playing field.
But it's clear Republicans in Congress have a very different set of values.
Two years ago today, Republicans like my opponent, Jason Lewis, rammed through a partisan tax bill (which passed in the dead of night in the Senate!) that put the wealthy and corporations above everyday Americans.
Families thought they would see a boost in their paychecks or higher refunds during tax season -- instead, 83% of the benefits will go to the top 1% by 2027 while many middle-class families watch their taxes go up.
Small businesses thought they would have room to get off the ground -- instead, big Fortune 500 corporations paid no federal income taxes and got billions in tax cuts to enrich their wealthy investors and CEOs, leaving workers in the dust.
People everywhere hoped the GOP tax bill would make their lives easier -- instead, they played hardworking Americans for fools.
I'm determined to win re-election next year and keep Minnesota away from the GOP's grasp. But if I'm honest, we have a very tough fight ahead of us. Right-wing special interests will do whatever it takes to keep their influence in Washington (and those tax breaks in their pockets), so I'm asking for your help today:
If you're sick and tired of the GOP turning their backs on the American people to please their wealthy donors, then donate $10 or more to help us save Minnesota's Senate seat by hitting our critical FEC goal. Every dollar will go toward keeping our state from flipping red next year.

I've had enough of Republicans laughing and congratulating themselves on profiting off the backs of everyday Americans. With your help, we can win re-election here in Minnesota, take back the Senate for Democrats, and put power back in the hands of the people.
Thanks for reading.
