Nottingham?s legendary Goose Fair makes its return to the city this Friday with the gates at Forest Recreation Ground opening at 4.00pm.

Goose Fair Vouchers

Money off ride vouchers are now available, which save 50p off participating rides and attractions Monday ? Friday.

You can either download an e-voucher for ?1.00 which can be used to get 50p off as many rides as you like and it can used for one adult and up to four children per device.

Alternatively, look out for the special editions of the Nottingham Post, Derby Telegraph and other regional newspapers to pick up ?20 worth of money-off ride vouchers.

Food is always a highlight at the fair, featuring?many traditional fairground favourites of mushy peas, Grantham gingerbread and Cock-on-a-Stick.

Visitors will be able to eat their way around the world with a diverse range of food from Spanish Churros, Handmade Italian pizza, Mexican taco?s, Nigerian fried plantain and Hawaiian Poke bowls to name but a few.

With a history that dates back more than 700 years,?thrill-seekers can enjoy the usual mix of rides, stalls and sideshows.

New rides to Goose Fair include the ?Void Extreme? as well as lots of returning favourites such as ?Ice Jet Matterhorn?, ?Star Flyer? and two ?Giant wheels? giving panoramic views across the fair and the city beyond.? All the Goose Fair classics will also be in attendance such as ??Gallopers? and the ?Cake Walk? ? the only ride still operating that featured when the fair was still held in Old Market Square ? plus of course lots of side-show games such as Hook-a-duck.

*If you normally use Forest park and ride this will be closed until Thursday 13 October. You can use Wilkinson Street as an alternative or if? full, Clifton South, Phoenix Park or Toton Lane park and ride.?

The Forest Recreation Ground is easily accessible by bus or tram. Use the Nottingham City Council journey planner - to find the best route for you.

There is no public vehicle parking onsite, however, for those with mobility issues, Blue Badge event parking is available at ?7 per car.?

There are bus and tram stops right by the Goose Fair entrance. With thousands of additional passengers, extra services are scheduled to ensure smooth and efficient travel for everyone coming to the fair.

*Tram*?- NET?s ?8 Group Ticket offers unlimited tram travel for one or two adults and up to three kids from 4pm on weekdays and all day at weekends.

*Bus*?-? Frequent?Brown, Lime, Yellow and Purple Line buses?all stop on Mansfield Road at the Forest Recreation Ground. From the city centre you can catch these buses on Parliament Street or Milton Street.?

Our??7?Grouprider [ [link removed] ]?ticket is available all day, every day for Goose Fair?and covers up to 5 people (min 1 adult, max 2 adults).? When you board, ask the driver for a Grouprider ticket and place your card/device on the reader when prompted to.
