I don’t want this country to go to hell in a handbasket, and we both know that another six years of Senator John Kennedy would turn that nightmare into reality.

But the truth is Kennedy has momentum. He’s got the entire right-wing establishment backing him up — special interests and everything. And he’ll do whatever his partisan hack bosses tell him to do, even if it means another sleazy attempt to overturn a free and fair election.

This puts us at a crossroads.

We can either buckle up and put our entire grassroots support behind his opponent, Luke Mixon, or watch Kennedy run Louisiana into the ground. Believe me when I say: I’ve been around the block more than a few times to recognize a real winner, and Luke Mixon is the Democrat who can win in Louisiana.

That’s why I am reaching out. Luke is up against his most important end-of-quarter deadline EVER, and he needs to raise $60,000 online before midnight Friday to stay on track to defeat Kennedy. Can I count on your donation to turbocharge this campaign to victory?
