1. A former city councilman: A career politician entrenched in the National Republican machine for over 20 years, he's promised to work in lockstep with President Trump.
2. A corporate executive: A longtime Republican fundraiser with deep pockets, he has the potential to fund his own campaign and poses a serious threat to Mikie’s seat.
3. And that’s not it: There are even more Republicans who ran in 2018 who are waiting in the wings to jump into the 2020 race.

No matter who ends up as the Republican candidate, they will have the full support of Washington Republicans and millions of dollars at their disposal.
