Folks — John Hickenlooper here! I wanted to take a moment and reach out to you about my friend Michael Bennet’s important race here in Colorado. But first, I’m personally asking for your support:

Can you chip in $10 or any amount toward Michael’s critical end-of-quarter fundraising goal before Friday’s deadline? He needs 979 more donors by midnight Friday to stay on track.

I’m proud to call Michael one of my best friends. Before Coloradans elected me to the Senate, he helped me during my successful run for Mayor of Denver and then served as my chief of staff.

Now that I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside him in the Senate for the last two years, I’m more committed than ever to re-electing Michael so he can keep delivering for Colorado families — and I’m not just saying that so I don’t lose my carpool buddy!

Michael fought hard to lower prescription drug costs for seniors, passed the expanded Child Tax Credit to help struggling families pay for child care and utility bills, and secured the funding we need to address droughts in the West and the Colorado River Basin. Now, he’s continuing the fight to enshrine reproductive rights into law nationally.

But Michael is up against an opponent that Mitch McConnell called his “perfect candidate” and said he’d be “all-in” to support. And just recently, CNN listed Michael’s Senate seat in its most flippable list this November, and the Colorado GOP leaked a poll showing they are within one point of winning this race.

I don’t know about you, folks, but I’m “all-in” for Michael. So will you chip in any amount before Friday’s critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, help us send Michael back to the Senate, and keep Colorado blue?
