I can't thank you enough for your support of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. When President Obama and I got into this fight in 2017, we knew that we wouldn't be successful without a strong grassroots team backing us up.

As a member of that team, you've helped us make an unbelievable amount of progress -- including this November, when we helped win two governor's races in very challenging states, Louisiana and Kentucky. These victories will give Democrats in those states a seat at the table during redistricting in 2021 -- that means Republicans won't be able to pass extreme gerrymanders that are in place for the next decade.

Today I'm asking you to step up. I'm asking you to make a one-time donation -- even if it's just $5 -- to support our ongoing work.

I don't have to tell you that 2020 will be our most important year yet, and that we have to go bigger than ever before. It's our last election to change who holds the redistricting pen ahead of 2021, so we need to be on the ground in as many states as possible, reacting to every court decision, pushing for reforms at the ballot box, and continuing to build our citizen movement.

This work is of the utmost urgency -- and nowhere is that clearer than in states like Wisconsin and Georgia. This month, and for no justifiable reason, Republicans in those states acted to remove hundreds of thousands of voters from the rolls ahead of the 2020 election. The GOP would rather do things like this than face elections that are truly fair. That is why we can't let up, not for a second.

It's not just that all of our work takes investment. It's that all of it takes sustained investment -- a commitment. Your commitment will make it possible to fund it at the level we need.

We have big plans to scale up in 2020 to win the fights we must win to end gerrymandering, but we can't do it without donations. And that's why I'm asking you to join our team of donors today. Can I count on you?
