Health experts recommend that doctors screen all adult patients under 65 for anxiety.

This highlights the extreme stress levels that hit the U.S. since the start of the pandemic. The advisory panel said this guidance intends to help prevent undetected and untreated mental health disorders.

The number of adults with anxiety and/or depressive disorders is rising in America. One study cited by the task force found that from Aug. 2020 to Feb. 2021, reports of symptoms of these disorders increased from 36.4% to 41.5%.

Should more countries screen adults for anxiety disorders?

U.S. States Ask Appeals Court to Reinstate Meta Lawsuit

46 U.S. states, D.C., and Guam asked a federal court to reinstate a 2020 antitrust lawsuit against Meta Platforms, Inc., owner of Facebook, after a lower court said the plaintiffs waited too long to sue. Meta’s team stood firm arguing that the states should have acted earlier on the purchases since they were “highly publicized” and that laches prevents the lawsuit from moving forward.

The states want to challenge Meta’s acquisition of Instagram and WhatsApp, alleging that Meta used its monopoly power to buy potential competitors and curtail competitive behavior.

Can You Help Me Pick Up My Sister at the Airport?

By Brenda Lafferty

My little sister was visiting from Tennessee, and I wanted to pick her up from the airport. I hoped I could share my experience of what it was like trying to do that while using a wheelchair.

What did I do in the end? I didn’t pick her up. I couldn’t.

Let me be clear: I know I’m blessed to have any options. To have a sister willing to help me out as much as she does. All I want is to be treated like everyone else.

And that’s what I see self-driving cars doing -- letting me pick up my little sister at the airport.

So, can you help me pick up my sister at the airport? Yes. You can. Without leaving your chair.
