Good morning, and welcome to our weekly digest of current volunteer legal projects.

We have more than 130 legal projects that need your help. We also have a lunch and learn opportunity for lawyers to join us for a panel about how lawyers can better partner with and protect trans communities:

	1—5 HOURS Help Black-Led Nonprofits File for 501(c)(3) Status Black Voters Matter Black-led nonprofits — mostly based in Southern states — need help understanding and navigating the process of incorporating as a 501(c)(3) organization. This is a remote opportunity, and lawyers may be barred in any state.
	6—10 HOURS Represent Doctors Without Borders' (MSF) Afghan Colleagues Doctors Without Borders Medical staff currently or formerly affiliated with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) need lawyers to represent them on urgent and/or complex immigration cases. Lawyers with immigration or employment law experience especially needed. Dari, Farsi, Pashto also speakers especially needed. Lawyers may be barred in any state.
	6—10 HOURS Research Cases to Help Formerly Convicted People Restore Their Voting Rights Florida Rights Restoration Coalition Work with people with previous felony convictions (aka returning citizens) to conduct case research and help them restore their right to vote. This is a remote opportunity. Though this organization is based in Florida, lawyers barred in any state are welcome to volunteer.
	1—5 HOURS Join WTA's Lunch & Learn On Trans Communities & the Law We The Action On September 29 at 1:30 PM ET, join We The Action and the Transgender Law Center for a lunch and learn panel discussing how lawyers can better partner with and protect trans people. Lawyers of all expertises and experience welcome — and please share with your network too!
