COP27 is taking place in the midst of soaring energy and food prices and climate disasters – such as scorching heat waves, roaring wildfires and epic floods – which are imposing a terrible toll on people around the world. These interlinked crises underscore the urgent need for countries to work together at COP27 and help tackle the consequences from rising global temperatures that are falling disproportionately on developing countries and ensure affordable, clean energy for all.

On Thursday October 6, join the Allied for Climate Transformation (ACT2025) consortium

This issue should be a major point of discussion at the COP27 climate summit in November, but how countries implement and fund a just transition remains a key question. This webinar will share insights from just transition efforts in various stages of development worldwide — including in South Africa, India and the United States — and explore how both international and domestic funding is required to kick off this crucial transition.
