Dr. Yadira Caraveo is running to become the first representative for Colorado's new 8th Congressional District – and she needs our help to win the most competitive House race in Colorado.

The Cook Political Report and Inside Elections are calling her race a "toss up," and Roll Call says that Colorado's open seat will "be among the seats that decide the majority in the House."

Diana was proud to be one of the first elected officials to endorse Dr. Caraveo, because she knows that she will be a voice in Congress to stabilize our economy, lower health care costs for Coloradans, take on climate change, and defend reproductive freedoms.

Dr. Caraveo is dedicated to helping people and building up her community. Even before she finished her medical training, advocacy for others became an important part of her life, and she went on to serve as a state legislator.

In only 2 terms, Dr. Caraveo’s success has been remarkable: she worked to pass legislation to force drug companies to lower the cost of prescriptions, drastically limit toxic pollution, expand funding for preschool, ensure all Coloradans have access to paid family and sick leave, and protect renters from eviction during the pandemic.

But now, Yadira is facing attacks from her extremist Republican opponent and she needs our help to win this critical race.
