Breaking from NPR: "Trump Administration Rule Could Eliminate Food Stamps For 700,000"

ACTION ALERT: Add your name right now to reject Trump's cruel attack on food stamps.

This is disastrous, friend: President Trump's administration just finalized a new rule that could cut SNAP benefits for nearly 700,000 people who have difficulty finding steady work and rely on the program to put food on the table. SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, provides benefits to families who need a hand so they can buy the food they need.

Even worse - Trump's doing this around the holidays, when many hardworking people depend on SNAP the most.

This kind of cruelty is at the core of the Trump agenda: Slash taxes for those who don't need help and make the rest of us pay for it. We can't afford to become numb to this kind of callous treatment - we must stand up together to say enough is enough and stop the Trump Administration from cutting SNAP benefits.
