Dear WEALF Family,

The fall means back to school for many of us whether we are parents or grandparents or lifelong learners ourselves heading back to campus for continuing education or to learn a new hobby. I am sure you will agree there is no better student than one that is curious and determined and one with an entrepreneurial spirit.

At WEALF, we are preparing for a very productive season of professional development and mentoring for our women entrepreneurs and look forward to sharing with you the accomplishments of participants in our program. In addition to our one-on-one mentoring, we provide specialized educational programs developed to meet the needs of our women. A special way you can support our mission, is to underwrite these professional trainings we are planning with Babson College’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership.

To learn more about ways you or your corporation can be part of our mission to help women become financially self-sufficient and prove that age, zip code and ethnicity are not barriers to gaining support necessary to grow a business, please see our donate now page or send an email to [email protected].

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Vicki Weiner

MEET THE NEW WOMEN OF WEALF

WEALF shines at the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce's "Shop Small Biz" Street Fair this month

The Shop Small Biz street fair, Saturday, September 10, provided a platform to help entrepreneurs and local small businesses sell their products and bring awareness to their services. The fair ran for 20 blocks on the Upper Eastside on Third Avenue. WEALF was pleased to participate and showcase our program participants and share our mission to help women become financially self-sufficient with attendees. WEALF supports the Chamber’s slogan, when you support a small business, you support a dream!
