We've always known our race for Pennsylvania's 8th District was going to be close. FiveThirtyEight listed it as the closest House race in the entire country, and poll after poll shows Matt and his opponent are neck-and-neck.

But now, it's shaping up to be one of the most expensive too.

Kevin McCarthy and D.C. Republicans have seen the latest polls, and they're pouring money into our district to help Matt's extreme opponent pull ahead. Decision Desk recently reported that this September, PA-08 has been one of the top-five most expensive House races in the entire country.

From now until Election Day, outside groups will flood our airwaves with attacks against Matt. We need to reach our end-of-quarter fundraising goal to ensure we have the resources to fight back.
