I’m Greta Carnes, Pete’s organizing director. You’ve probably heard from me a few times before -- I usually send emails about debate watch parties :)

We have less than 43 days until the Iowa caucus -- so I wanted to walk you through our organizing strategy. It’s how we’re going to win.

Back in April when we launched this campaign, we knew that in order to win we needed to get people talking about Pete. Our organizing program is based on two truths. The first: when people hear about Pete, they tend to really like him. And the second: you (literally you!) are a better messenger for Pete’s message than anyone else.

That’s why we invested in an organizing strategy that empowers supporters like you to organize your own friends, family, coworkers, and networks. We know that YOU calling your best friend and talking about Pete -- why you chose Pete, why Pete gives you hope, why you need your mom to not only vote in the primary but also volunteer -- is more effective than me calling your best friend. (Your best friend probably won’t even pick up the phone if I call her.)

These conversations cut through the noise of this primary in a way nothing else can -- and they are the reason we’ll win.
