SOS Femmes Enfant et Catastrophe (SOSFEC) has been a SAAF grantee partner since 2014. They work in the South Kivu region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where many women were turning to unsafe abortion due to lack of information and access to safe abortion options. With SAAF funding, SOSFEC has now set up three clinics and provided reproductive health services to almost 70,000 people.
Clarisse from SOSFEC has written a blogpost about their work:
"I’m delighted to be able to say that our clients are satisfied with the care they receive...Working with clients at SOSFEC has shown me, for certain, that Misoprostol saves lives."
