There’s hope on the horizon, John.

Since the Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe v. Wade, there’s been an overwhelming showing of women fighting back. In states like Ohio, where abortion access is most at risk, voter registration among women has surged.

With the second-highest jump in voter registration post-Roe, Ohio women saw a 7% increase, now comprising 54% of all newly registered voters.

Women across the country are fired up and ready to fight for their rights. But to secure federal protections for abortion rights, we must keep the House and expand our Democratic majority in the Senate. With the road to Democrats’ victory running through Ohio this November, can we count on you to chip in $5 right now to help us reach these newly registered voters?

In his majority opinion striking down Roe, Supreme Court Justice Alito wrote, “women are not without electoral or political power.” Little does he know women across the country are ready to prove just how right he is. Since the ruling, abortion has become the second-most important election issue this November.

We saw a major victory early on in Kansas, where voters rejected a public referendum to remove statewide abortion protections. Now, we must continue to build off that moment to see more abortion rights victories this November.

So, John, with abortion rights on the ballot this November, there’s no time to spare. Will you join the fight to protect abortion rights and ensure we maintain our Democratic majorities in Congress by donating $5 today?
