What does it mean to be a governor, John?
The textbook definition may be about implementing laws, but to us, governing is about more than that. It’s rooted in representing the people and being the driving force behind progress in the state.
Being a good governor means listening and responding to your community and being an empathetic, passionate leader.
That’s what Katie will do. As a social worker, in the state legislature, and as Arizona’s Secretary of State, she’s spent her life helping everyday Arizonans and working to make our state a better place for all.
Kari Lake, on the other hand, would use the governor’s office to gain more power and fame. She’s centered her campaign around pandering to the most extreme members of the Republican Party with lies and conspiracy theories, and has shown zero interest in addressing real issues affecting the daily lives of Arizonans. Rather than side with the majority of Arizonans who support the right to choose, she’s doubled down on her support for the cruel, life-threatening abortion ban that was just upheld in our state.
In just a few weeks, we have a clear choice: Elect a governor who will use the position to make Arizona the best place to live, work, and raise a family — or elect one who only cares about their own selfish interests.
Chip in any amount before our final quarterly fundraising deadline of the election to help ensure Katie comes out on top this November >>
