Hey team –
I wanted to make sure you saw my campaign manager’s email from earlier. This week is one of the most important weeks of this campaign, and with only 4 days until our end-of-month PDC deadline, it’s all hands on deck!
Nothing is more important than our work in the field, knocking on doors and talking to neighbors. But we also need the resources to combat the attacks that we know are coming against me. Back in 2018, the other side poured $1 million into the race, and we have to be prepared for that again.
You all know that I’m not taking any corporate PAC money this year. We’re entirely funded by everyday people like you. Every time that I’ve called on our supporters to step up, you’ve always delivered for me. That’s the power of our grassroots campaign - we’re always stronger together. I hope you’ll help us out as we enter the final stretch of the campaign.
– Emily
Team –
I know you’re probably feeling the fatigue of election season, but I hope you’ll take the time to read this. We’re coming up on our biggest deadline yet: Friday at midnight marks our last monthly PDC deadline before voters receive their ballots.
We also know just what is at stake in this election: our freedom to choose, freedom to vote, and democracy itself is on the line this year. Regardless of what happens at the federal level, we have to make sure that Washington State remains a place where women’s rights are protected, and where extremism is not given a home.
That starts with re-electing Emily this November, in the closest State Senate race in the state. I’ve worked with Emily for years, and seen firsthand how well she advocates and delivers real results for her constituents. I can’t think of anyone better suited to represent us.
I also know that when people hear Emily’s story and message, it resonates with them. That’s why our goal is to raise $10,000 by Friday to fund our voter outreach plan, to make sure that as many voters as possible hear from Emily before they send in their ballots next month.
Election Day is only six weeks away. The last thing we want is to get to November 8th and feel like we could’ve done more. In these final six weeks, let’s do all that we can to keep Emily in the State Senate, and in return she’ll continue to fight for all of us.
Thank you,
Cameron
