This weekend, we learned that Rand Paul declined to appear on a debate
stage to defend his record and make his case to the people of Kentucky.
He doesn’t want to face me or his constituents. He’s terrified. It’s
pitiful.
Kentucky deserves a Senator who will show up. So I’ll be on the debate
stage even if he isn’t. And in 45 days, I’ll take his job.
