From the moment Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis flew 50 illegal immigrants to elite, liberal resort-town Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, the Left screamed.

They said it was cruel. They said it was mean. They said it was reckless. They said it was criminal.

But what they meant was... it was smart.

Gov. DeSantis bet that liberals would never tolerate living under the consequences of their terrible policies. You see, there's a pattern:

▶︎ Liberals want gun control but are protected by men with guns.

▶︎ Liberals want to defund the police, but they live in gated communities.

▶︎ Liberals oppose school choice but send their kids to private schools.

▶︎ Liberals like illegal immigration but don’t live anywhere near the border.

And so, when 50 illegal immigrants arrived on Martha’s Vineyard, the rich liberals kicked them out almost the day they arrived. Since then, most of the focus has been on how Gov. DeSantis’s brilliant move played in the media.

But more important is how it’s playing on the border. The same day Gov. DeSantis’s plane landed on Martha’s Vineyard, Joe Biden’s Border Patrol temporarily stopped releasing captured illegal immigrants into the city of El Paso, Texas.

In other words: it worked!

Gov. DeSantis showed that when conservatives take important debates into liberal elites’ faces, they blink. The only way conservatives win is if conservatives fight.
