GOOD NEWS: Since Mandela became the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin, we have received more than 200,000 contributions. That's huge, because this campaign is funded by lots of people contributing what they can.

BAD NEWS: We're facing a critical FEC fundraising deadline in just 3 days, and our average online donation has plummeted. It’s about $5 less than it was one week ago. That’s not great.

So we have two choices: either we need A LOT more donations between now and the time this FEC deadline ends, or we need to ask people to chip in a little bit more than we otherwise might.

Normally we ask people to make a $3 donation the first time they are chipping in online. But if you could contribute $10 today, it would mean a lot toward making sure we can raise the kind of money we need to win.
