We're determined to build a world where children can reach their full potential without fear of weight-based bullying.

John,

At the Obesity Action Coalition, we believe children should never be made to feel bad about their bodies. That's why we're committed to doing the work that will eradicate childhood obesity bullying, providing the resources needed for families to navigate difficult conversations about weight and health and empowering communities to teach children to be proud of who they are.

As we near the end of Childhood Obesity Awareness Month, the OAC wants more people to recognize that ending childhood obesity bullying is a mission that cannot wait. Each day we don't act, more children are experiencing unfair and damaging treatment that has the potential to affect them for a lifetime.

The donations you provide during this campaign will not only support our current programs and initiatives but will also help us create new and innovative opportunities to put an end to childhood obesity bullying and ease the pain too many children face.

How we'll use your donations to fight for children in 2023 and beyond:

Tackling new advocacy issues that focus on children and adolescents. The OAC will engage parents, teachers, administrators and most importantly, students in crafting our newest strategies.

Focus on prioritizing mental health through initiatives centered on supporting children and their caregivers as they navigate weight and health issues.

Adding more pediatricians to the Obesity Care Providers Locator. In our newest upgrades to the OCP Locator, we are concentrated on adding more health care options than ever before.
