Hi John, This is Congresswoman Katie Porter. You may know me as the woman who brings a whiteboard to congressional hearings to break down the facts behind corporate greed and corruption. But today, I’m breaking it out to tell you a bit about my race:
These stats are what make this race my toughest one yet. This election is so critical, and that’s why I’m asking if you can split a donation between my campaign in Orange County and Lucy McBath’s campaign in Georgia. Lucy and I are a part of an incredibly slim Democratic majority, and in order to hold the House, we must hold these seats. I’m proud to work alongside Lucy to lower costs for families, stand up for the right to an abortion, and prevent gun violence. But our work can only continue if we are reelected in November, and we need your help to reach voters in this final stretch of the race.
