With the most important fundraising deadline of my campaign approaching – the last quarterly FEC reporting deadline – and Senate control on the line, I have a simple question for you:

If you knew a donation of $5 would help protect this seat and Democratic control of the Senate, would you donate?

I'm asking because your grassroots support – right now, at this critical moment – will make all the difference in our fight to protect this seat from our Trump-endorsed Republican opponent.

It will make all the difference in ensuring we can compete with my opponent's megadonor fundraisers, attended by the likes of National Republican Senatorial Committee Chair Rick Scott and RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

It will make all the difference in showing the strength of our campaign when my fundraising numbers go public in our FEC report – a key moment where Republicans could pile on attacks if they see us coming up short.

It will make all the difference in holding and expanding Democratic Senate control, where we will protect the fundamental human right to reproductive freedom, continue to expose and investigate Donald Trump's crimes, and protect our democracy.

But with Democrats currently operating with the most tenuous possible control of the Senate, there's no room for error ahead of consequential deadlines like this one. Your donation TODAY will put us in the strongest possible position to defend this seat. So please, donate $5 or whatever you can spare ahead of this FEC fundraising deadline to help me win re-election and protect Democratic control of the Senate.
