The Los Angeles Times just called Representative Katie Porter’s race one
of the “10 to watch” when it comes to control of Congress.(1)

Now the mainstream media has bought into the GOP’s attacks on Rep. Porter,
running op-eds about manufactured scandals concerning her work as a
professor instead of talking about critical policy issues that affect us
all.(2)(3)

In the last few months alone, Rep. Porter has written bills and cast
crucial votes to help fund mental health services and improve gun safety
laws, and she continues to fight for our rights against corporate abuses.
We need to fight for her. Courage California is getting Katie Porter’s
message to voters in her district. Will you support this crucial work?

Rep. Katie Porter has been a rock star for her district and for all
Americans since she was elected to Congress.

She’s fought for abortion rights, paid family leave, and financial support
for working parents. She has called out fossil fuel and Big Tech CEOs.
She’s the hero we need in Congress.

Her opponent, meanwhile, wants to outlaw abortion and same-sex marriage.
He is anti-immigrant, and he wants to cut federal programs that working
families rely on.(4)

Democrats only have a 1.4% registration advantage in Rep. Porter’s
district, and the polls are getting tighter.(5) We need to act now.
Courage California used detailed polling to develop the message that will
resonate in Rep. Porter’s multicultural district, and now we need to fund
ads and texting programs in multiple languages to get the message out.
