The election is less than 8 weeks away, and we need everyone’s help to re-elect Tony Evers for Governor and to elect Mandela Barnes to the Senate! Here are this week’s featured opportunities.

350 Wisconsin Action is looking for volunteers to help write postcards to voters in Congressional District 3 in Western Wisconsin. These eye-catching postcards feature art from our Art Collective. They will remind voters of the importance of having climate champions in office, and encourage them to support Governor Evers, Mandela Barnes, and Brad Pfaff in the upcoming election. We will provide suggested messages to include in your postcards.

You can choose where to write the postcards:
* Attend our postcard-writing event, tentatively scheduled for Friday, October 7 at the UW Madison campus Library Mall (more information to follow).
* Attend a postcard-writing party (dates and times to be determined)
* Write postcards on your own time, from home. We'll provide you with postcards and addresses.

We will be mailing 1000 postcards. Donations to offset printing and postage costs would be appreciated!

Writing letters to the editor is still alive and well!
Letters to the editor– in both print and online newspapers–are an effective way to reach persuadable voters. You can join 350 Wisconsin Action in writing letters to newspapers across the state, endorsing Barnes and Evers and stressing the importance of voting for clean water, renewable energy and green jobs. You will receive a comprehensive list of newspapers with instructions for how to submit letters to them. We’ll also provide a toolkit with sample letters that you can use and modify. And if you like, we’d be happy to edit your letters before you submit them.
