What is Terri Sewell fighting for in Congress?

Terri has dedicated her time in Congress to championing our rights and being a voice for our most vulnerable communities. She introduced the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect our sacred right to vote and has been an outspoken proponent of abortion access and environmental justice. Most importantly, she has always been determined to faithfully address Alabama’s needs in Congress, from upgrading infrastructure to keeping critical hospital locations open to the public.

Why is this race so important?

For the first time in a decade, Terri is facing a GOP challenger for her seat. Republicans know that Terri is critical to House Democrats’ plans to push our country forward and will do anything they can to flip all of Alabama red. Don’t forget: Terri is the only Democrat in Congress representing Alabama. If we lose her, America’s Civil Rights District could fall in the hands of the far-right.

Why does my grassroots support matter?

Your grassroots support means EVERYTHING to this campaign. The GOP has spent millions of dollars this year alone attacking Democrats to take back control of the House. Terri relies on grassroots supporters to fuel her campaign and help combat their attacks.

Why is reaching Terri’s end-of-quarter goal so important?

Terri’s campaign is facing its last FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline before Election Day. After Friday’s deadline passes, Terri’s fundraising numbers will be made public, meaning anyone will be able to see what this team has accomplished. This is our last chance to show everyone, from political pundits to the MAGA extremists gunning for Terri’s seat, that this movement is strong.
