Michelle Smith, my opponent, has frightening beliefs: 

- Calls abortion an “abhorrent practice”

- Funded by Betsy DeVos and will divert funding away from public schools

- Endorsed a pro-Trump, conspiracy-theorist candidate for Secretary of State 

- Funded by insurrectionists like former Republican candidate for governor, Ryan Kelley, who is charged on 4 counts related to the Jan. 6th Capitol Riots.

With friends like these, Michelle Smith doesn’t reflect our community or state.

 I stand strong on the priorities I believe make Michigan a better place:

- Protect a woman’s right to choose

- More investment in quality education for all students

- Election integrity

This election could determine whether Democrats take back the State House.  Due to redistricting, my seat was rated the number #1 most likely to flip Republican out of 110 House seats by MIRS, Lansing’s preeminent political news source.
