The reason why we’re only asking for $1 is simple: when we report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission at the end of this week, we have to report not only the amount we raised, but the number of donors who chipped in. Come Friday, we want that number to be as high as possible – and reflective of the size and strength of this grassroots team.
