This is rich, friend.

If you didn't know, The Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) is a notorious dark money super PAC aligned with Kevin McCarthy. As you read this email, they're dumping millions of dollars into my race on disingenuous (and pretty cringey) attack ads against me.
 
The CLF is “lovestruck” with making terrible attack ads.
I think it's a bit hypocritical for a DC-based super PAC -- led by none other than Kevin McCarthy -- to attack me for being... a DC insider?

What's also wild is that the Republican they've endorsed isn't even from our district -- she's running here because she knew it would be a competitive race after redistricting. Call me crazy, but if anything screams “out-of-touch insider” it's shopping around for a winnable district to run in. 😬

I'm no stranger to false attacks, and frankly, I think these fall flat. But our race is still going to be *very* competitive. Polling shows us neck and neck, and an unprecedented amount of dark money behind ads like these could tip the scales.

So I have to ask:

With GOP super PAC ads coming our way, we can’t take any risks with not meeting our final FEC goal on Sept 30. Will you chip in today so we don’t fall short?
