Folks,
Remember that awful feeling you had on that morning in November 2016? The pollsters had all said for months that Hillary Clinton was certain to win the presidency. Well, Politico thinks pollsters might be at risk for another surprise this November.

Democrats are polling slightly ahead in several key races in Virginia – like in VA-07 and VA-10, where Congresswomen Abigail Spanberger and Jennifer Wexton are facing challenges from the far-right. In VA-02, it’s a dead heat between Congresswoman Elaine Luria and Jen Kiggans. Now imagine the pollsters are wrong like they were in 2016 – suddenly all of these races become MUCH more critical.
That’s why we can’t let up in any of these races. We need to run like it’s 2016. Will you chip in and help us avoid repeating the past?

We can avoid a repeat of 2016, but only if we run far enough ahead that a polling error won’t spell disaster. We need to put every bit of energy into these highly competitive races – can we count on you to join us?
