In his spare time, the senior at Barrington High School in Barrington, Illinois enjoys reading, creating stories, playing video games, and doing part time computer work for his dad. As a future voter, the three most important issues to him are health care, education, and the environment

Did you know that we offer teacher prizes for our student contests? Both the Think the Vote contest and the recently launched MyImpact Challenge civics contest feature teacher awards.


Every two weeks, the two teachers of the

Think the Vote debate winners also each receive a gift card and swag. Please remind your students to share their referring teacher in their submissions.


And the teacher of the

MyImpact Challenge grand prize winner will receive $500, and the teacher with the most valid student entries will win $500 . Up to twenty $250 prizes are also awarded to the teachers generating the most entries (minimum of three entries are required to win).


These are just a few ways the Bill of Rights Institute supports and celebrates the important work you are doing in classrooms across the nation.
