Kay Kotan defines lay empowerment as recognizing that the laity also has a call to ministry, helping them to identify their unique giftedness and passions and then equipping, encouraging and deploying them for the work of serving and building up the body of Christ. Read more here →

“Implicit Bias: What We Don't Think We Think” is a resource for leaders, preachers and congregations who want to learn and teach about implicit bias, the unconscious bias we all experience. The learning engagements included in each section allow for individual work, group work and sermon preparation. Each exercise is an invitation to the sacred journey of discovering with your church and community how God is leading you to use this material faithfully within your context.
