I have a special request to ask of you.

Wiley Nickel needs your help here in North Carolina’s 13th District. He’s got a $100,000 goal for the month of September, and his opponent Bo Hines is raking in cash from Super PACs and the wealthy GOP donor base.

This is a huge inflection point for Wiley’s campaign, John. That’s why I’m urging you to join me in support of Wiley by making a grassroots contribution of $25 to his campaign right away.

I’ve been keeping close tabs on this race and I must say, it’s incredibly impressive what Wiley has been able to do. This district was initially projected as Lean Republican by Fox News, but because of the candidate that Wiley is and the effort you have put in this race is now a toss-up. But he needs your help to close the deal.

National Republicans only need to flip five seats in November to regain control of the House, and Kevin McCarthy and Donald Trump are devoting every resource to help their extremist candidates.

With stakes this high, we can’t afford to take anything for granted. We need grassroots supporters like you to step up and chip in, John. So, I’m asking: Can I count on you to chip in $25 right away to help Wiley win his race and protect our Democratic House majority?
