I’m not going to sugar coat this: Our fundraising has slowed down since the primary. [[link removed]]
We were thrilled by our primary win and thankful our supporters worked hard to get us there… But with only six short weeks until Election Day, we cannot afford for Democrats to get complacent about this race.
Governor McKee is facing an opponent with deep pockets, who is already spending big sums to win this election. She’s already demonstrated that she’s willing to lie to voters and we expect this to get ugly during the final weeks. It’s critical that we have the resources to fight back against her false attacks, while showing voters how extreme she really is.
I have a meeting scheduled with Governor McKee and our campaign manager this evening to provide a fundraising update ahead of our end-of-quarter deadline on September 30th. We really want to give the Governor good news, especially since this will be our first fundraising deadline of the general election. Can you chip in now? [[link removed]]
