There are many ways to fight animal cruelty&mdash;whether at the grocery store or right at your computer. Take these simple steps to continue helping animals in need.

They've done nothing wrong. But when innocent animals are mistreated, it feels like they've been put on the “Naughty List” just the same. This December, as you spend time with those who you care for most, please remember the animals left out in the cold, denied food and water, and who suffer at the hands of abusers. These are the animals we must rescue and protect, and we can’t do it without you.

This year alone, we helped a cat who was suffering from severe chemical burns, we cared for an abandoned pit bull who was tethered to a pole with bite wounds on her body, we rescued 75 neglected animals living in heartbreaking conditions, and beyond that,

we've worked tirelessly to treat, care for and give love and hope to countless victims of cruelty, neglect and abuse.

No animal deserves to be abused and to feel like they've done something that constitutes cruelty&mdash;not now, not ever. So, as you're "checking your list" this holiday season, we hope you&rsquo;ll help us reach animals who need us most, provide food and care for victims, and give homeless animals the comfort of a loving family and a warm bed.
