Girls all over the world are working incredibly hard — sometimes facing impossibly dangerous circumstances — to remain in school. But new challenges are emerging every day. UNICEF is already providing basic school supplies and digital access for online and remote learning, as well as helping to remove obstacles like child marriage and child labor and defending every girl’s fundamental right to education.
The Keeping Girls in School Act will allow UNICEF and partners to keep up this good work, harnessing the power of the U.S. Government and creating educational systems that actually address the needs of girls. |
