The Senate is scheduled to vote on a must-pass bill on Tuesday, to which Senator Joe Manchin has schemed to attach a "permitting" bill that would gut our nation's environmental protections, and fast-track the dangerous Mountain Valley fracked gas pipeline in Appalachia.

Manchin needs to get his dirty deal through before Sept. 30 -- that's the deadline for the scheme to attach his permitting bill to a must-pass bill that funds the government.

But we're fighting back. More than 80 U.S. House Reps have signed onto a letter led by Rep. Raul Grijalva opposing Sen. Manchin's dirty deal, and now, Sen. Jeff Merkley is leading a similar letter, co-signed by Sens. Warren, Sanders and others.

Pipeline Fighters also need to put pressure on their elected representatives in Washington NOW to stop this dirty pipeline deal!
