We are grateful to the Michigan State Police for making strides in the assassination plot investigation. Thanks to the response of law enforcement, we believe that particular threat no longer poses any danger to Dr. Bob's life or anyone else's.

All of our events are open to the public — to anyone regardless of political party — and all will fearlessly move forward as planned.

The 1st Congressional Candidate Forum by the League of Women Voters will go on despite refusal by Jack Bergman, tonight, Tues. Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. It will be broadcasted in the Grand Traverse Area by Traverse Area Community Media on channel 189, and live-streamed on the League of Women Voters' Facebook page.

Earlier in the day, team Dr. Bob will be at Bay College in Escanaba this afternoon.

Also, at the end of this month, we have our last FEC fundraising deadline before Election Day. Here’s what happens with these FEC reports:

Our team will close our fundraising books at 11:59 PM on September 30th and will prepare a public fundraising report that everyone can see. Those numbers will be used to judge just how much momentum is behind Dr. Lorinser.

Right now, absentee ballots start going out to Michigan voters.

Election Day might seem like it’s far away, but voting starts now, as prepare for our last FEC quarterly fundraising deadline before Election Day.

We need to make sure we have the resources to push Dr. Bob over the finish line to victory, and we need your help to get there.
