Friend: I'm about to ask you to donate to my campaign before my midnight fundraising deadline – (here's the link!) – but first, I want to tell you a few things about my opponent:

1. Marco Rubio celebrated the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and cosponsored a national abortion ban in the Senate this month.

2. He told Florida students that he'd take action to protect them after the horrific Parkland shooting, only to go back to being a lapdog for the gun lobby and refusing to work with Parkland survivors. 

3. He has continuously attacked my 27 years of service in law enforcement, despite the fact that he was plotting his political career while I was risking my life for Floridians.

Florida deserves better, and so does our country, but the GOP is flooding Rubio's campaign with donations and running attack ads to defeat me. They know that this race will determine which party wins Senate control. 

I urgently need to reach my $200,000 goal tonight to compete and win. But I'm still coming up $17,296 short – and donations have slowed WAY down.

That's why I'm personally asking you to chip in $5 – or whatever you can spare – before midnight tonight to help defend our Senate majority and send Marco Rubio packing.
