Team – I'm reaching out today to talk to you about my friend, Dr. Kim Schrier.
Kim is a pediatrician, mother, and representative for Washington's competitive 8th Congressional District. She's running for re-election in a race that could determine the fate of the House majority this November, and she needs our help.
Kim is facing Matt Larkin, an extreme MAGA Republican. Larkin is a staunch supporter of Donald Trump and he refused to say whether the results of the 2020 presidential election were legitimate. He's also unapologetically anti-choice, and wants to ban abortion even in cases of rape or incest.
We can't afford Larkin in the House, and Kim is in for a tough race. Election experts are calling Kim's race a "toss up" and almost $7 million in dark money is flooding the district with attacks against her. She needs our help to fight back.

Since coming to Congress, Kim’s joined me in passing legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, invest in our infrastructure, protect the environment, and so much more. As the only pro-choice, woman doctor in Congress, we can't afford to lose Kim's voice and perspective in Congress, but she has a tough fight ahead of her.
